Gwen K. Neal, age 67, of 634 Fair Grounds Road, died Wednesday August 14, 2013 at McCall Hospice in Simpsonville.
She was born in Landrum and was a daughter of the late Doyle and Vera Benson Kuykendall.
Mrs. Neal was a retired Home Health Coordinator. She was also a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wade Allen Neal of Laurens; her daughters, Lisa N. Braeckelaere (John) of West Columbia and Melody Neal of Laurens; her brothers, Curtis Kuykendall of Morganton, NC, Clifford Kuykendall of Clinton, Jerry Kuykendall of Laurens; three sisters, Gail Griffin of Enoree, Patricia Bryant of Troy, NC, Barbara Martin of Greer; three grandchildren, Taylor Braeckelaere, Dalton Foster, Matthew Braeckelaere and one great grandchild, Bryson Carlton.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 16th at 3:00 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church by Rev. J.D. Putman with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church.
