Gwendolyn (Gwen) D. Holtzclaw, age 76, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 in the Self Regional Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late Evelyn Holtzclaw and Alvin Holtzclaw, and her step-father John Smith.
Ms. Holtzclaw was a retired LPN; loved animals, helped many people and was very big hearted.
She is survived by several cousins and her special friend, Gerry Johnson and family of Greenwood.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 21st at 4:00 p.m.at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Kidney Foundation, 508 Hampton St. Suite 200, Columbia, SC 29201.
