Hallie Cleo Abercrombie, age 87 of 1013 Virginia Cr., died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late Leroy and Hallie Wofford Campbell.
Mrs. Abercrombie was a former employee of Clinton Mills, a homemaker and a member of the Waterloo Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. J.B. “Jot” Abercrombie of the home; two sons, Charles “Tony” Abercrombie and wife, Beth of Columbia, Robert “Buddy” Abercrombie and wife, Patty of Summerville; two daughters, Mary Gregory and husband, Melvin of Anderson, Dianne Powell and husband, Gary of Greer; one brother, Rev. L. R. Campbell of Batesburg-Leesville; three sisters, Nellie Ruth Holley of Florida, Coreen Smith of Greer, Shirley Yarborough of Statesville, NC; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Waterloo Baptist Church with burial at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
