Harold John Preston Sr.

Harold John Preston, Sr., age 84, of Clinton, widower of Margaret Ann Preston, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1937 in Cincinnatus, New York and was a son of the late Lester Preston and the late, Jenny Marie Elmore Preston. He was the owner of B&P Shades of Clinton.
He is survived by his daughters, Grace E. Warren (Scott), Brenda Rhodes (Stephen); brother, Ralph Preston (Elaine); sister, Martha Davis (Larry); grandchildren, Margaret Ann Cohn, Aaron Scott Warren, Kristi Ann Preston, George Alvin Gantt, Jr., Jonathan Allen Gantt; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sons; Harold J. Preston, Jr., and Brent Lester Preston; three brothers; and one sister.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 16, 2021, 11am, at the Mountville Cemetery, with Rev. Allie McNider officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Avenue, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
