Harry George Patterson, Sr.

Harry George Patterson, Sr., age 73, husband of Annette Lark Patterson of 217 Milam Road, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late Arthur Roy and Rachel Pauline Blackwell Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was retired from Whitten Center and was a deacon of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Mr. Patterson was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather.
He is also survived by a son, Harry George Patterson, Jr. and wife Frances; a daughter, Teresa P. English and son-in-law David English; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest Patterson and wife Mary.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the New Hope Baptist Church with interment in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of the son, Harry Patterson, Jr. at 546 Milam Road.
