Hazel Howell Littleton, age 68, died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was known for her strength, perseverance, and deep love for her family.
Hazel was born October 24, 1946, in Clinton, SC to Oscar and Selma Howell. She was an active member of The Spring Church in Laurens, SC.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joel; her children, Elizabeth Robinson, Dennis Littleton (Mary) and Roxanne Mann (Lewis); fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Oscar Howell (Sandy) and George Howell (Marilyn); one sister, Mary Hoover (Don); and many friends and those who affectionately still refer to her as “Miss Hazel”.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Strickland and her granddaughter, Olivia Mann.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 26th at 3 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wings of Hope, 1337 Medical Ridge Road, PO Box 0006, Clinton, SC 29325 or The Spring Church, 62 Bridgeway Drive, Laurens, SC 29360.
