Hazel Murphy Turner

Dateline, Laurens, SC
Hazel Murphy Turner, age 79, the widow of Harold Turner, formerly of Metric Rd. and a resident of The Agape Living Center died Monday, Aug. 11th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Woodruff and was a daughter of the late Ward and Eliza Rhodes Murphy.
Mrs. Turner was a retired employee of the Laurens Shirt Plant, a homemaker and member of the Enoree United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Harold Brother Turner and wife, Kathy; one daughter, Patty Smith and husband, Ralph all of Laurens; two sisters, Polly Laurence of Mason, OH, Blanche Wright of Laurens; four grandchildren, Bo Smith and fiancé, Heather Heath, Tracy Davis and husband, Jason, Josh Smith and friend, Angie Page, B. J. Turner and two step grandchildren, Karen and Kristi Snow and three great step grandchildren, Courtney Snow, Justin and Sidney Foggie.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 14th at 11:00 am in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Patty Smith 4698 Metric Rd., Laurens, SC.
