Helen Steele Grant, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born on April 14, 1924 in Waxhaw, NC and was the daughter of the late George Fuller and Alice Weir Steele.
Helen was married to the late George Mills Grant, Sr. and is survived by her three children, Alice Grant Diaz, George Mills Grant, Jr., and Emily Karen Adelman. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th, at 10:00 AM, at the Bailey Manor Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM, at the Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Chester.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness.
