Helen Pennington age 63 of 1553 Fleming St. Ext. died Monday, October 24th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late George and Lena Cissom Pennington.
Helen was retired from Travelers Inn, was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and also enjoyed delivering flowers for the Arbor. Helen was always full of life and had a great love for her family.
Surviving are her son, Alvin Pennington of Laurens; a daughter, Frances Edwards of Joanna; one brother, James Pennington of Laurens; six sisters, her twin, Ellen Robertson of Laurens, Dorothy Scott of Laurens, Sara Hill of Gray Court, Louise Owens of Laurens, Jeanette Carlton of Laurens, Jean Jones of Laurens and six grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, William (Bill) Pennington, a sister, Ruth Ford and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 27th at 4:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The body will be taken home to 1553 Fleming St. Ext. Tuesday afternoon where the family will greet friends.
