Helen B. Williams age 85, of 121 Milling Street and widow of Vernon E. Williams, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Dec. 3rd, 2012.
She was born in Valley Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late John Paul and Lois Nichols Brown.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Elizabeth Street Church of God where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. She also enjoyed keeping many children in her home.
She is survived by two sons, Larry E. Williams (Cathy) of Laurens, and Vernon E. Williams (Deborah) of Laurens; two daughters, Dorothy Anderson of Clinton, and Elsie Heaton (Allen) of Clinton; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was the last member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elizabeth Street Church of God.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Dorothy Anderson, 114 W. Centennial St., Clinton, SC.
