Henry Lawson Jr.

Henry Lawson, Jr., age 87, of 202 Phillips Street, passed away, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his daughter’s home.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late, Henry and Cynthia Hulda Smith Lawson, Sr.
Mr. Lawson was retired for the Clinton Mill Plant #1 and the Clinton Humane Society. He loved serving the City and People of Clinton.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lawson of Kinards; his two sons, Michael Dale Lawson (Leslie) of Clinton and Michael Lee Lawson of Spartanburg; his two daughters, Brenda Lawson Whitsel of Clinton and Melissa Lawson Baker (TJ) of Joanna; his ten grandchildren and his four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lawson was the last surviving member of his family.
A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 3 PM at the New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
The family will be at the home of his daughter Brenda Whitsel. 203 McMillian Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
