Henry Eugene Lothridge

Henry E. Lothridge, age 73, of 5962 Hwy. 76 W. died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was the son of the late Eugene and Dorothy Cooper Lothridge.
Mr. Lothridge was a retired teacher from Laurens County School District # 55, attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Cain Lothridge of the home; a son, Steve Lothridge and his wife, Hope of Piedmont; a daughter, Amy Lothridge Burke and her husband, Chris of Liberty; a brother, James Lothridge and his wife, Margaret of Centerville, GA; a sister, Lib Smith and her husband, Ken of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Abby, Grace and Laura Lothridge and Wyatt Henry Burke.
He was predeceased by a brother, Billy Lothridge and two sisters, Beatrice Barnette and Etrulia Meakin.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel. A private graveside service will be held earlier.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the chapel.
