Henry M. Cox, age 91, formerly of Hixson, TN died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the NHC of Clinton.
Born in Rome, Georgia, Mr. Cox was a WW II veteran of the South Pacific Campaign and a fifty year member of the F. & A. M. of Tennessee and Past Master of the Daisy Lodge #706, Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.
Survivors include his daughter, Diane and her husband, Bill Yarborough; a brother, Arthur M. Cox and his wife, Helen and sister-in-law, Christine Brazier of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Clinton.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Apperson Cox of Chattanooga and Clinton; two sisters, Pansy Ellis and Lucy Gallaher and two brothers, Philip Cox and Howard Cox.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel and a graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
