Horace Eugene Howell

Horace Eugene Howell, age 73, of 68 Milam Road, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at this home.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Henry Horace and Ethel Cobb Howell.
He was retired from Clinton Mills. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of the D.A.V. Shands Lodge.
Surviving are two sons, Franklin Eugene Howell and Roger Dale Howell of Clinton; a daughters, Deborah H. Hershman of Clinton; two sisters, Brenda Harris of Clinton and Viola Wicker of Whitmire; and three grandchildren, Ridge Howell, Brad Hershman, and Brittney Hershman.
Mr. Howell was predeceased by his wife, Ruby R. Howell and a sister, Mary Frances Howell.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 6th at 2:00 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of the daughter, Deborah Hershman at 116 Bell Avenue in Clinton.
