Horace William (Toby) Butler, Sr.
Horace William (Toby) Butler, Sr., age 67, of 200 Watts Ave. died Saturday, April 18, 2009 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Banks County, GA and was the son of the late Hollis and Nannie Maude Hopper Butler.
Mr. Butler was retired from Green’s Body Shop, was a member of Warrior Creek Baptist Church and was a mason.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie M. Butler of the home; two sons, William Butler of Clinton and Kenny Butler of McCormick; a brother, Wayne Butler of Gainesville, GA; four sisters, Dot Tollison of Simpsonville, Ann Wicks of Piedmont, Evelyn Mangum and Wanda Faye Taylor both of Gainesville, GA and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Ed Butler, Robert Butler and Roy Butler.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with interment at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home
