Hoyt Richard "Bird Dog" Burroughs

Hoyt Richard “Bird Dog” Burroughs, age 57 formerly of Clinton died Tuesday, April 5, 2010 in the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Hoyt Lee Burroughs and Darris Faye McLendon Todd.
Mr. Burroughs was a retired truck driver.
Surviving are one son, Carman Burroughs; three brothers, David Burroughs, Danny Burroughs and Donnie Burroughs all of Clinton; two sisters, Brenda M. Burroughs and Mary Edra Guessford both of Laurens.
He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Todd.
A memorial service will be conducted Monday, April 12th at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Brenda M. Burroughs, 1983 Rabon Rd., Laurens.
