Hubert Powell

Dateline- Waterloo, S.C.;

Hubert Powell, age 89, of Whitten Road died Saturday, April 25
in the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was born in Orangeburg and was the son of the late William
and Lala Pearl Powell.
Mr. Powell was retired from School District 56 and was a WWII Veteran
with the U.S. Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in law, Jack and Carol
F. Powell of Fort Mill; two grandsons, Brian Lee and wife, Leah of
Wilmington, N. C. and David Alan Powell of Rock Hill, SC; a
great granddaughter, Chloe Powell and a great grandson Sumter
Powell.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
at the Gray Funeral Home.
