Hugh Jefferson Davis Jr.

Hugh Jefferson Davis, Jr., age 94, of 202 Deering Street, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Whitmire and was the son of the late Hugh Jefferson Davis, Sr. and Maude Wells Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Dorothy Davis; two sons, Stanley Hugh Davis, Sr. (Mitzi) of Spartanburg, and Doug Rowe (Debbie) of Fort Mill; a sister, Maxine Nelson (Billy) of Roebuck; a grandson, Stanley Davis, II (Amy) of Inman; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Hailey Davis; and a step-great-granddaughter, Megan Williamson.
He is predeceased by six siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6th, at 1:30 PM, at the Laurens Church of God. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the church. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
