Inez Young Ledford

Inez Young Ledford, 85, widow of Leonard Hubert Ledford, Jr. passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2007, at the Presbyterian Home in Clinton.
She was born in Clinton on April 9, 1912 to John Thomas Young and Inez Lee Motz McCraw.
Mrs. Ledford was a graduate of Clinton High School and Lander College. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and was formerly actively involved in the “Steeple People” and the Pep Club.
She is survived by a son, John Leonard Ledford and wife, Jan of Clinton; a daughter, Lou Ledford Miles and husband, John of Charleston; two sisters, Henrietta (Cissie) Y. Davis and Joy Godfrey Gault, both of Clinton; two granddaughters, Elisabeth Ledford Crapps of Clinton, and Sarah Margaret Miles of Charleston; and nine nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for the family will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Clinton, the Presbyterian Home in Clinton of Hospice of Laurens County.
