Inge Helene Gierst Evans

Inge Helene Gierst Evans, age 87, widow of Isaac Daniel Evans, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the National Health Care of Clinton.

 She was born November 16, 1937, in Hoppstadten, Germany and was the daughter of the late Josef Gierst and Theresa Zimmerman Gierst. She was a home maker who loved to work in her garden and loved her flowers. She was also member of Fairview Baptist Church.

 Mrs. Evans is survived by her children, Jimmy Evans (Vaughan), Diana Hills (James) and Gail Farmer (Wayne); her grandchildren, Dylan Sweat, Dawson Lamb, Cooper Evans, Abby Evans, Michael Hill, Rebecca Goodman and Brian Farmer; and her great-grandchild, Logan Ehney.

 Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 3 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Mark Bernhausen, Rev. Sam Cox, and Mr. Buddy Bridges officiating.

 The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 3 PM.
