Irene Shaver Mayfield

Irene Shaver Mayfield age 78, of 606 Wheeland School Rd., went home
to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2010.
She was a loving mother and will forever be missed.
She was born in Laurens County, SC and was the daughter of the late
E.O. and Leona Shaver.
Mrs. Mayfield was retired from Thompson International of Newberry.
She is survived by one son, Steven Riddle of Newberry; three daughters
Linda Prater of Prosperity, Sandra Davenport of Newberry, and Cindy
(Stan) Atkinson of Little Mountain; two brothers, Glenn Shaver of Joanna,
Louis Shaver of Georgia; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mayfield was predeceased by her husband, John M. Mayfield and
a sister, Doris Bledsoe.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
In the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at
the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Glenn and Betty Shaver at 4622 Whitmire Hwy.
