Jack D. Willard

Jack D. Willard, age 88, of 6 Gilliam St. died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in the VA Hospital.
He was born in Whitmire and was the son of the late Isaac D. and Inez Tucker Willard.
Mr. Willard was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church, was the retired owner of Willard’s Body Shop and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Moss of the home and Gloria Diane Morris and her husband, Robert P. (Sparky) Morris of Newberry; one brother, Eugene (Dick) Willard of Columbia; four grandchildren, Robert (Trey) Pressley Morris, III, Delisa Diane (Dee Dee) Morris, James (David) Porter, Jr. and Michael (Shane) Moss; three great grandchildren, Allie Porter, James David Porter, III, and Adriane Diane Morris.
Mr. Willard was predeceased by his wife, Mae Helen Willard and a daughter, Jackie Dale Willard.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
