Jackie Bluford Hughes, age 67, of Laurens, died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the late Bluford and Ruby Gault Hughes.
Mr. Hughes was retired from Fanzi Screw Co.
He is survived by a son, Jackie E. Hughes (Shawn) of Laurens; two grandchildren, Summer Lee Hughes and Jackie Ryan Hughes; three sisters, Joanne Lowie (George), Linda Smith (Maxie), and Dorothy Pearson; and one brother, Brian Hughes.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, January 25th at 2:00 PM at Northside Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at the church.
