James “Jimmy” Henry Ammons, Jr., age 59, of 1579 Leesville Church Road, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was the son of Ruth Holder Ammons of Clinton and the late James “Poke” Henry Ammons, Sr.
Mr. Ammons was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister, Patricia A. Kitchens (Barry) of Clinton; his niece, Tanya Kitchens Meade (Scott); his nephew, Jason Kitchens; his aunt, Mary Holder of Clinton and his uncle, John C. Holder and wife, Cat of Hickory Tavern.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6th, at 4:00 PM at Bellview Baptist Church with burial in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home, where they will receive friends after the service.
