James D. “Jimmy” Bass, Sr., age 62, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016, at the NHC of Laurens.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Lewis D. and Betty Hilley Bass. Mr. Bass worked in several jobs during his life, and attended the Lydia Mill Church of God.
Mr. Bass is survived by a son, James Bass, Jr. (Amber) of Waterloo; a daughter, Kristen Maxine Bass of Joanna; a brother, Joey Bass (Lori) of Clinton; and a sister, Melia Newton of Laurens.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Diane Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
