James Barney Croy

James Barney Croy, age 84, of 108 Beauregard Street, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019, at his home.
He was born in Georgia and was a son of the late Clyde and Eliza Anderson Croy. Mr. Croy was retired from Clinton Mills and was an avid Carolina and Red Devils fan.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice S. Croy of the home; his daughters, Gail Patterson (Oneil), Jackie Kernells, and Jamie Lawson (Joel) all of Clinton; two grandchildren raised in the home, Star Croy and Dustin Sherfield; his brother, Clyde Croy, Jr.; his sister, Shelby Peritt; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Croy was predeceased by a son, Eddie Croy, and two sisters, Virginia Bryant and Grace Britt.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at his home located at 108 Beauregard Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
