James Edward "Ed" Davis

James Edward “Ed” Davis, age 79, widower of Peggy W. Davis, of 226 Milam Road passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Columbia, SC and was a son of the late William Leroy Davis and Hannah Marie Grogan Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived his son, Thomas Edward Davis (Kimberley) of Clinton; a daughter, Wanda Summers of Clinton; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hill (Brandon) and Vanessa Kelley Mitchell (Garret); and his great-granddaughter, Hailey Rose Hill.
In addition to his parents Mr. Davis was predeceased by his brother, William M. Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 10, 2019 at 4 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton with interment to take place at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 4 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
