James "Buddy" Thomas Haupfear Sr.

James T. “Buddy” Haupfear, Sr. age 61 of 907 Old Colony Rd. passed away Tuesday, Mar. 14th 2017 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a son of the late Gene Austin and Hedy Reba Chalk Haupfear.
Mr. Haupfear retired from Timken Bearing Company after 42 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene McAlpine Haupfear of the home; two sons, James Haupfear of Simpsonville, Gene Haupfear of Greer; a daughter, Kayla Haupfear-Alley of Richmond Hill, GA; two brothers, John Haupfear of Clinton, Kent Haupfear of Lexington; and five grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, Riley, Audrey and Laura James.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Pamela Arrowood Haupfear.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Mar. 17th at 2:00 P.M. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. J.D. Shiflet.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home Thursday evening.
