James (Jimmy) E. Collins, age 68, of 257 Elledge Road, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Brevard, NC, and was a son of the late Emmless Roosevelt and Margaret Louise Davis Collins.
Mr. Collins was a former carpet installer and of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by two brothers, Charles Collins and Junior Collins; four sisters, Brenda Collins, Barbara Harris, Shirley Cooper and Vera Harris; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was predeceased by a sister, Margie Louise Volrath.
A private service will be held.
The family will be at the home of his nephew, Richard Collins, located at 506 West Farley Avenue, Laurens, SC.
