James William "Billy" Mcgee

James William “Billy” McGee, age 80, of 2160 Apple Orchard Rd, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 14th, 2015.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late William O. and Marguerite Harris McGee. He is retired as Supervisor from Clinton Mills, a former member of the National Guard, and a member of the Lydia Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Isabell Martin McGee of the home; his four daughters, Sherry McGee of Clinton, Sheila Wheeler of Clinton, Tammy Polson (Ricky) of Clinton, and Tonie (Chris) Campbell of Laurens; his four brothers, Eddie McGee of Clinton, Tony McGee of Clinton, Marty McGee of Shelby, NC, and Barry McGee of Greenwood; his sister, Jean Cauble of Clinton; his grandchildren, Scott Crain of Greenville, Wendy Polson of Laurens, Matthew Hatfield of Clinton, Ricky Polson, Jr of Clinton, Amy Evans of Joanna, Dakota Kellett of Clinton, Justin Campbell of Laurens, Taylor Campbell of Laurens and twenty great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his son, Vernon Kellett, his two brothers, Michael S. “Trigger” McGee and Alex G. “Jerry” McGee, and a grandson, Tyler Campbell.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton, the family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
