James Lee "Skeeter" Price

 James Lee “Skeeter” Price, age 78, husband of Myrtle Rogers Price, passed away, Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home. 

 He was born on August 25, 1946 in Laurens, South Carolina and was the son of the late George Washington Price and Nellie Harvey Price. Skeeter proudly served his country as a jet engine mechanic in the US Airforce. He was a former race car driver and attended Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church. 

 In addition to his wife of 59 years, Skeeter is survived by his son, Brian Price (Anna); his daughter, Tonya Price (Tim); his brother, John David Price; his grandchildren, Whitlee Nicole Imaizumi (Kipa), Justin Michael Price, Forrest Mosby Donnan; his great-grandchildren, Kailees Elizabeth Ann Imaizumi and Nicolas Ikaika Lee Imaizumi; and very close nephew, Rusty Campbell. 

 Skeeter is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Paul Timothy Price. 

 A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 2:00PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev Mark Entrekin and Mr. Paul Rogers officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the Mausoleum Chapel. The burial will be private.
