James Ervin Privette, age 75, of 58 Smith Street, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017.
He was born in Whitmire and was a son of the late Horace Van and Annie Belle Nelson Privette.
Mr. Privette is survived by he son Steve Privette of Canton, GA; his daughter, Dawn Privette of Gray Court, SC; his brother, Charles Privette and wife Tenny, of Simpsonville, SC; and his six grandchildren, Mayra, Justin, Austin, Stephanie, Christopher, and Brandon; and his two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Savannah.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27 at 11 AM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will take place at Whitmire Cemetery.
