James Benson Roth

James Benson Roth, also known as Jimmy and “JR”, age 70, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his home.
He was born September 16, 1953 and was the son of the late Lawrence Benson and Charlotte Armstrong Roth. “JR” retired after 35 years of employment from Torrington Bearings Company and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Trevor Roth (Dana) of Clinton; his daughter, Cindy Roth Tucker (Jacob) of Waterloo; his brother, Ronnie Roth (Dale); his sister, Sandra Roth Bigbee (Billy) of Fountain Inn; his grandchildren, Trent Roth, Taylor Roth, Joshlyn Holbert, and his great-grandchildren, Kyias Spencer and Kilah James.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a charity of one’s choice.
