James Allen (Jimmy) Poston, Sr.

James Allen (Jimmy) Poston, Sr. age 73, of 399 Smith Street died Sunday, June 12, 2011 in the Newberry Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Camden and was the son of the late Lewis and Emmie Player Poston.
Mr. Poston was retired from the Delta Wood Yard and attended the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by a son, James Poston, Jr. of the home; four sisters, Bobbie Westbrook, Linda Stevenson, Janice Elmes and Patsy Lawson; two grandchildren, Beth Polson and James Poston, III; a great grandchild, Isabella Miller.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bobbie Osborne Poston.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16th in the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church at 11:00 a.m.
