James Arthur Cartee

James A. Cartee, age 66, formerly of Lafayette, AL died Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Valley, AL
He was born in Whitmire and was the son of the late Leeander and Edith McFalls Cartee.
Mr. Cartee was disabled from Duke Power Co.
He is survived by two sons, Tony Cartee and his wife, Sabrina of AL and Tim Cartee of Greenwood; a daughter Lisa Miles and her husband, Todd of AL; a sister, Brenda Anderson of New Market, TN; brother-in-law, Roy Kyzer of N.Augusta, SC; a sister-in-law, Alpha Weston of Whitmire; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Grady Cartee and Arsemous Cartee and a sister, Margaret Kyzer.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his sister-in-law, Alpha Weston, 2101 Hwy. 72, Whitmire.
