James David Carlton

James David Carlton, Sr. age 75, of 101 Airport Road died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the late Dave and Annie Mae Williams Carlton of Laurens.
Mr. Carlton was retired form the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict with 20 years of service; was retired from Torrington Bearings Co. and was an active member of the Eastside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Pennington Carlton of the home; one son, James Carlton, Jr. of Clinton; two daughters, Debra C. Bunch and Delores C. Saxon both of Laurens; seven grandchildren, Wendy Bunch, Brad Carlton, both of Laurens, Trey Carlton, III, Tim Wooten, Beverly Spivey, all of Clinton, Amy Hamilton and Kelley Hamilton both of VA and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna C. Hamilton of VA.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eastside Baptist Church with entombment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church.
