James Donald Rowe, age 75 of 105 Blalock Street, married to the love of his life for 54 years, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 in Providence Hospital in Columbia.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late David and Nannie Edwards Rowe; was a member of Lydia Mill Church of God and a U. S. Navy Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Frances H. Rowe of the home, two daughters, Sharon Anderson of Clinton and Karen Wise of Mountville, two grandchildren, Tabitha Morgan and Stephanie Gregory and a great grandson, James Aiden Jordyn Edwards and five granddogs.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Lydia Church of God with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
