James E. “Bubba” Fulmer, age 78, of 4411 Hwy. 49 died Sunday, Feb. 15th at his home.
He was born in Orangeburg County and was a son of the late Chester Garfield Fulmer, Sr. and the late Victoria Irene Metts Fulmer.
Mr. Fulmer was retired from J. P. Stevens was member of the Faith Baptist Church and a member of the Rossie Walker Masonic Lodge #354.
He is survived by one son, Kevin James Fulmer of the home; three daughters, Dianne Sipes of Laurens, Jane Gedeist of Whitmire, Teresa Brouillette of Laurens; one brother, Von P. Fulmer of Laurens; three sisters, Ruth Nelson and Raye Johnson both of Laurens and Shirley Smith of Rock Hill; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Mr. Fulmer was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Knight Fulmer, a great grandson and a great granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Dianne Sipes, 7340 Hwy. 308, Laurens, SC.
