James Harold Simmons, Sr.

James Harold Simmons, Sr., age 70 of 105 E. Bluford St., died Tuesday, May 27th in the Self Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Enoree and was a son of the late James Toy and Elizabeth Hembree Simmons.
He was a retired Superintendent for the City of Clinton; a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree and a U. S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Vernetta Lusk Simmons of the home, one son and his wife, Jamie and Kim Simmons of Clinton; one daughter and her husband, Rhonda and Ronny Boyce of Clinton, one Brother, Donald F. Simmons of Saluda, NC.; four grandchildren, Kristi and Heidi Boyce and Joshua and Jeremy Simmons, and one great granddaughter, Halen Paige McGinnis.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Jamie Simmons, 105 Pinewood Ave., Clinton after the service.
