James Henry Smith

Dateline-Clinton, SC

James Henry Smith age 80 of 403 Florence St. died Friday at his home.
He was born in Saluda and was a son of the late Paul and Pearl Jenkins Smith.
Mr. Smith retired from Clinton Mills and was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving are a son, Stanley Smith of Clinton; three daughters, Sharon Bickers of Clinton, Tracy Smith of Gray Court, Lisa Jackson of Clinton; three brothers, Hugh Smith of Salisbury, NC, Bill Smith of Clover, Tommy Smith of Rock Hill; two sisters, Dorothy Babb of Newberry, Catherine Gilliam of Rock Hill; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his son, Stanley Smith, 715 Carolyn Dr., Clinton.
