James (Jimmy) R. Wooten, age 75 of 917 Fleming Street, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of Grace James Wooten of Clinton and the late Cecil Wooten. He was a former employee of Clinton Mills and a US Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Melody Brown Wooten of the home, three daughters,
Ruby W. (Paul) Dellinger of Clinton, Susan Bradford of Laurens and Christel Worthington of McCormick; one brother, Bobby Wooten of Waterloo, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday, Dec.16th at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.
