James Paul “Motsie” Motes, Jr.
James Paul “Motsie” Motes, Jr. age 59, of 1283 Saluda River Road, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was the son of Nellie Gray King Motes of Clinton and the late James Paul Motes, Sr.
Mr. Motes was retired from Whitten Center.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Henry Motes of the home; a son, Joshua Paul Motes of Nashville, TN.; and a sister, Mitzi Kates of Clinton.
He was predeceased by a son, James Shannon Motes.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Jimmy Henry, 1601 Young Road, Clinton, SC.
