James Robert “Bobby” Dillard, age 70 of 30015 Hwy. 72 East died Monday, December 29, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Ray and Ruth Cathcart Dillard.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Shumpert Dillard of the home; one daughter, Dena Louise Dillard of the home; one sister, Beth Dillard Mullis of Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Dillard was predeceased by a daughter, Krysta Lynn Dillard and a brother, Thomas C. Dillard.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 31st at 3:00 p.m. in the Whitmire United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.
