Janet "Jan" Meadors Hall

 Janet “Jan” Meadors Hall, age 72 of Clinton, wife of Larry Hall, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Hospice of Laurens County in Clinton.

 She was born July 15, 1952 in Clinton, SC and was the daughter of Charles R. Meadors and Fay M. Meadors of Clinton.

 Mrs. Hall was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School and Graduated in 1974 from Presbyterian College with a degree in Education specializing in Special Education. Her teaching career started at Whitten Village, then moved to the Newberry School district before moving home to Clinton and District 56 teaching at M.S. Bailey Elementary. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.

 In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by a brother Robert Meadors, wife Natalie of N. Augusta, SC; sister Pamela Meadors of Charlotte, NC, sister Cynthia Meadors of Clinton and brother Mitchell “Mitch” Meadors, wife Jan, of Clinton, stepson Larry Hall, Jr. of Las Vegas, wife Kristie, step daughter Linda K. Gilbreath of Chesapeake, VA, husband John. Several nieces and nephews with special nephew Jered Meadors, wife Melissa, special niece Jill Meadors, along with five step grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was predeceased by her son Mack Burgess and brother Charles “Chuck” Meadors, Jr.

 Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 24th, at 2:00 PM at Davidson Street Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Moore officiating with Ms. Jill Meadors giving inspirational remarks about her Aunt Jan. Burial with at a VA National Cemetery at a later date.

 The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital Greenville, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
