Janice Cannon Shifferly

Janice Cannon Shifferly, age 75 of 1833 Old Milton Rd. and widow of Glen Atlee Shifferly died Monday, November 1, 2010 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Spartanburg and was a daughter of the late J.C. and Sara Stribling Cannon.
Mrs. Shifferly retired from School District 56 after 30 years of services.
Surviving are two sons, Norman G. Shifferly and wife, Penny, Terry L. Shifferly and wife, Brandie all of Clinton; two daughters, Tracy Shifferly and Nancee Switzer and husband, Tim all of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Alan Shifferly, Joy Shifferly Laird, Michael Switzer, Brooklyn Shifferly, Hannah Gilmore, David Switzer and Heidi Blackstock.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, at 4:00 p.m. at the Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
