Janice Marie Wilkes Corder

Janice Marie Wilkes Corder, age 49 of 931½ Central Ave. died Saturday, April 14th at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC after a sudden illness.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of Thomas and Joyce Gossett Wilkes of Laurens.
Mrs. Corder was a former employee of Renfro Manufacturing.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, David Corder of the home; one daughter, Lisa Ouzts and husband Timothy Ouzts, Jr. of Gray Court; two grandchildren, Eric and Kristen Ouzts of Gray Court; five brothers, Thomas Wilkes, Jr. of Waterloo, Kenneth Wilkes of Gray Court, Mark Wilkes of Newberry, Jerry Smith, Jr. and Phillip Smith both of Georgia; six sisters, Patricia Ray and Diane Vaughn both of Clinton, Renee Wilkes of Laurens, Tammy Torres of Florida, Sherry Ritchie and Traci Stephens both of Georgia.
She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Smith, a grandson, Ryan Ouzts and a sister, Kim Hyler.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The body will be taken home Monday afternoon, where the family will receive friends until noon on the day of the funeral service.
