Jason Todd Smith, age 27 formerly of Greenville, died Monday, March 19, 2007 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of Larry C. Smith of Whitmire and Cheryl & Johnny Wilson of Whitmire.
He had an Associate of Science Degree in Technical Nursing from USC of Spartanburg and was a former employee of Sears Roebuck & Co.
Surviving in addition to his parents are maternal grandmother, Dorothy Willard of Whitmire, sister, Amy Lee Smith of Whitmire, nephew, James Poston, III, three uncles, four aunts, many cousins, two step-sisters and special friend, Keith McCall. Special acknowledgement is given to the McCall family as surrogate family members.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, George Willard, Jr. and paternal grandparents, James C. and Florence Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in Bethesda Baptist Church with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of his mother, 1103 Sinclair Ave., Whitmire, SC
