Jay H. Gregory

Lillie B. Gregory, age 87, of 109 Hawkins Circle died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 and her husband of 58 years, Jay Hugh Gregory, age 79 died Thursday, June 29, 2011 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
Mrs. Gregory was born in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late Boyce and Mary Lou Beam Blancher. Mr. Gregory was born in Whitmire and was a son of the late Dewey and Agnes Harris Gregory.
Mrs. Gregory was a homemaker, Mr. Gregory was retired from Anderson Hardwood and was a US Army Veteran. They both were members of the New Vision Tabernacle in Clinton.
They are survived by three children, Paul Millwood and his wife, Gail of Cross Hill, Alice Howell of Joanna and Lois Crisp and her husband, Dwight of Cross Hill; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Gregory is also survived by one brother, Robert Gregory of Clinton and three sisters, Marlene Fulmer and husband, Aaron of Laurens, Sandy Howell and husband, Oscar of Clinton and Lois Hudson of Newberry.
They were predeceased by a daughter, Betty Gregory and Mrs. Gregory was the last member of her immediate family.
Their funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of her son, Paul Millwood, 37 Point Lookout Rd, Cross Hill.
