J.C. Lollis

J. C. Lollis age 86 of 404 Magnolia Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Greenville, SC and was the son of the late Henry and Eliza Lollis.
Mr. Lollis was a retired employee of Gower Manufacturing and a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna. He was a U.S. Navy and Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korea.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Jones Lollis of the home; two sons, James Ronald Lollis of Bowie, Maryland and Lloyd Richard Lollis of Crestview, FL; two daughters, Linda Juanita Godfrey of Fremont, OH and Robbie Jean Lollis Park of Silver Springs, FL; a brother, Joe Griffin Lollis; a sister, Bobbie Jean Moore; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Jan. 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Joanna with burial in Oconee Memorial Gardens of Seneca.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
