J.D. Rushton

J.D. Rushton, age 66, of 50 Grandview Acres, died Sunday, October 22, 2006 in the Self Regional Healthcare.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the Z.W. and Eula Mae Sumner Rushton.
Mr. Rushton was a former employee of the Clinton Mill. He also was known as the ice cream and sno-jo man of Clinton.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Rushton of the home; one son, Mitchell Rushton and wife Karen of Clinton; two daughters, Carolyn Mae King and husband William, and Judy Ann Cash, all of Clinton; one brother, Zed Walter (Junior) Rushton of Belton; seven grandchildren, Lisa Marie Rushton, Brandon and Erica King, Bubba, Tink, Chris, and Sonya Cash; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Lydia Mill Church of God.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 24th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
